PROTEX Founder and Storm Chaser Joshua Simmonds - Smith is always at the scene of severe weather. “I became quite interested in weather at a very young age, which inevitably persuaded my future career path”. Josh has always had a passion for all-things-weather (as early as 5 years old) and has been trying to master it ever since - currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Earth & Atmospheric Sciences.

 

Joshua resides in Toronto, Ontario - but can be found travelling all over Canada in his journey to hunt down nature’s beautiful and deadliest weather phenomena.

 

When he's not on the hunt, Josh can be seen hosting Photography / Storm Spotting seminars throughout Ontario.
